Bravern (ブレイバーン, Bravern) is the titular main mecha of the Bang Brave Bang Bravern series.

Previously known as Lewis Smith (ルイス・スミス, Ruisu Sumisu), Bravern is a robot created by the soul of the Titanostrider Pilot, the Deathdrive Cunus, and the wreckage from the human pilot's Titanostrider, the XM3 Rising Orthos.

Technical Overview[]

A sentient robot that appears before JSDF Lieutenant Isami Ao. Its combat ability traces from its pilot following Isami's Self-Defense Forces Martial Arts, given sword-style called the Courage Single Blade Style (勇気一刀流, Yuuki Ittou-ryu), and able to transform into fighter craft mode called Bravethunder (ブレイサンダー, Bravethunder).

As a mechanical being that shares the same trait with other Deathdrives, Bravern requires a human being to serve as his power extension (in that case, Isami). Unlike most of them, Bravern features a unique inner cockpit that allows Isami to control him while he's on board.

As it contains the spirit of Lewis Smith, its personal attachment towards Isami remains loyal to the point of not letting anybody else pilot, especially the current Lewis Smith to prevent possible paradoxes.
